US To Deploy 1,500 Troops To Counter Iran

Description

The United States is going to send 1,500 additional troops to the Middle East. According to CNN, the new deployment includes Patriot missile batteries, reconnaissance aircraft and accompanying necessary forces. Pentagon sources say the purpose of the deployment is to provide further deterrence against what it believes is a rising Iranian threat against US troops in the region.
