Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder @Milan Design Week 2019

Description

Automobili Lamborghini opened the doors on the evening of 10 April for a cocktail party at its Living in the Fast Lane exhibition: the Interactive Lamborghini Lab that interprets the meaning of avant-garde technology and design. The new Huracán EVO Spyder, presented as a world debut at Geneva Motor Show, was also displayed as an interpretation of Lamborghini design and innovation. The exhibition space, designed as a route that allows visitors to immerse themselves step by step into the Lamborghini universe, was the venue for a welcome by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, Stefano Domenicali. Special guest for the evening was designer and architect Fabio Novembre who is responsible for artistic direction of the DBOX space, the design expression ‘container’ in which the Lamborghini exhibition is held. During the evening the sound of the Lamborghini engine was also celebrated with a live performance by the violinist Stephanie Childress. She is the protagonist in the first of four videos in which famous people compare their abilities to the unique characteristics of Lamborghini super sports cars.

Lamborghini presents the new Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder at Geneva Motor Show: the open-top car joins its coupé counterpart launched earlier this year, as the second model in the V10 Huracán EVO line-up. The Spyder adopts the next-generation vehicle dynamic control and aerodynamics developed for the coupé, with the 5.2 liter naturally-aspirated Lamborghini V10 engine uprated for a higher power output and incorporating Titanium intake valves. The Huracán EVO Spyder outputs 640 hp (470 kW) at 8,000 rpm with 600 Nm of torque delivered at 6,500 rpm. With a dry weight of 1,542 kg the car reaches a weight-to-power ratio of 2.41 kg/hp, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and from 0-200 km/h in 9.3 seconds. Braking from 100 km/h to 0 is achieved in just 32.2 m, with a top speed of 325 km/h.
