‘The Curse of La Llorona’ Makes Top Of The Box Office During Easter Weekend

Description

Easter weekend at the box office proved to be a bit slower this year because of the wait for “Avengers: Endgame.” According to SFGate, there was an estimated 22 percent drop compared to last year’s holidays. Even so, Warner Bros. did well over the weekend, with “The Curse of La Llorona taking the number one spot. The horror film was created with a $9 million budget and earned $11.8 million already. “La Llorona” is expected to beat expectations and earn $26 million its opening weekend.
