Netflix Is Testing A "Random Episode" Button For Some Shows

Netflix is always working on new ways to get more eyes on its large library of content and according to comicbook.com, the company announced that it's teasing a random episode feature on a selection of shows. So far, the feature is only available on the Android mobile Netflix app, but it proves to be popular you can expect to see it available on more platforms soon. The shows featured in this test include The Office, New Girl, Our Planet, and Arrested Development.

    New research suggests that Warren Buffett's Apple investment might not payoff over the next decade. Dimensional Fund Advisors tracked the largest 10 US stocks at the start of each decade since 1930. Business Insider reports that DFA found that on average, they underperformed the market by 1.1% over the next five years and 1.5% over 10 years. Apple is the most valuable US stock with a $2-Trillion market capitalization. Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway counts Apple as the biggest holding in its equity portfolio. The investor's company has more than tripled its money on Apple in less than five years. The company might not gain significantly more for a long time.

    Elle magazine is reporting that Netflix has cancelled the Hillary Swank space drama "Away." In the series, Swank plays the conflicted Commander Emma Green. She leads the first-ever human mission to Mars, leaving behind her family. "Away" is not the only show Netflix cancelled recently. It also axed "GLOW" and "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." The show was expensive and intricate to produce, as space sequences took days to plot and choreograph.
