Ex-Catalan leader Puigdemont to run for EU polls

Description

Former Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont, who led a failed attempt to break Catalonia from Spain in 2017, will present himself for the European Parliament elections in May in order to "bring the voice of Catalonia which wants to be independent" to European institutions.
