J.J. Abrams Says Title Of New Star Wars Film Will Make More Sense When The Film Premieres

Description

“Star Wars” just revealed the title of its upcoming film, “Star War: Episode IX, The Rise of Skywalker.” Yet the title was kept such a secret that not even the leading stars of the film knew what it was until now. Daisy Ridley revealed that they all watched the teaser together and John Boyega was very much surprised by the title. J.J. Abrams said the title is “provocative and asks a bunch of questions,” but is “the right title for this movie.” He said: “I think when you see the movie, you’ll see how it’s intended and what it means.”

But the Skywalker Saga will close one way or another as Star Wars: Episode IX is set to hit theaters on December 20th, 2019.
