Mar-a-Lago Business Made Less Money In 2018 Than 2017

President Donald Trump often visits his Mar-a-Lago resort but it doesn't seem to be helping business. According to Politico, the Florida estate made $22 million in revenue in 2018, almost $3 million less than 2017. A factor that could have cause the dip in revenue is the government shutdown at the end of 2018. Trump was set to visit the estate but had to postpone twice and ultimately cancel his trip for the holidays. This information was revealed through the Office of Government Ethics, which provides insight into finances.
