Students Protest Mike Pence At Graduation Ceremony In Home State

Description

According to a report by Huffpost, on Saturday, dozens of members of Taylor University's graduating class protested Vice President Mike Pence's appearance as the school's commencement speaker, walking out of the ceremony minutes before he took the stage. The Associated Press originally reported that the protest was planned and discussed prior to the ceremony and stemmed from Pence's conservative religious views and role in the Trump administration.
