UK PM Candidate Gove Says Brexit Before General Election

Description

According to Reuters, Britain's Secretary of State for Environment Michael Gove wants to leave the EU before holding an election. In the wake of Prime Minister Theresa May's resignation, Gove is a frontrunner in the race to succeed her. Gove said over Twitter that the United Kingdom must leave the European Union before holding a general election. He added that if a snap election is held soon, the Conservative Party will be punished at the ballot box.
