Walgreens Shares Drop On Dow Jones And S&P

Description

According to Reuters, Walgreens shares dropped almost 13-percent after the company cut its 2019 profit growth forecast. The drugstore chain also reported that it missed analyst estimates for its first quarter profits for 2019. The losses sent a shock wave through the markets on Wall Street. Walgreens losses dragged on the Dow Jones, which fell about 85-points, while weighing on the S&P's consumer staples index.
