KFC To Launch Vegan Chicken Sandwich In UK

Business Insider is reporting that KFC has created a vegan version of its signature fried chicken burger. The "Imposter Burger" is made from meat substitute Quorn. It is coated in the Colonel's Original Recipe herbs and spices, with vegan mayo and lettuce, in a soft bun. It's being offered at select branches of the fast food restaurant across the UK for four weeks. The launch follows the introduction of plant-based alternatives at popular chains such as Burger King and IKEA.
