Female racing driver Aseel Al Hamad celebrated the end of the ban on women drivers with a lap of honour in a Jaguar F-TYPE. Aseel, the first female board member of the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation, had never driven on a track in her home country before. Aseel joined Jaguar in a call for June 24th to be known as World Driving Day – a day when finally, the whole world can enjoy the thrill of being behind the wheel of a car. On World Driving Day Jaguar invites people to share a memory of their best driving moment (image or anecdote) using the #WorldDrivingDay.

BMW presented a level five autonomous driving car at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Monday, a car that would allow its driver to completely take his or her mind off the road, enabling the driver to eat, watch a movie, or even sleep behind the wheel. However, the level five autonomous car still has a way to go before being realised. In the meantime, BMW expects to get level 3 autonomous vehicles called iNEXT on the road by 2021.
Belgian sailor Evi Van Acker, currently the world's No. 1 female sailor in Laser Radial class is set to compete for a place in Rio 2016. The sailing world championship, being held in Oman from the 20th to the 26th of November, will determine her qualifying to the Olympic Games.
