Brazil's President Says He Believes Neymar Is Innocent

Description

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said he supports Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior. The Brazilian soccer star was recently accused of raping a model in Paris. Activists said the president’s support of Neymar could discourage victims from reporting sexual violence. Bolsonaro said Neymar is “going through a hard time” and that he believes him. Neymar declines the allegations and accused the model of blackmailing him.
