Death threats for Armenia transgender woman after parliament speech

Description

Lilit Martirosyan is the first transgender woman to have spoken in Armenia's Parliament, having made a speech against pervasive violations of LGBT rights in her socially conservative country. Despite receiving death threats after this bold move, she says she continues to fight for her community's rights.
