Petition To Name Keanu Reeves ‘Time’ Magazine’s ‘Person Of The Year’ Gains Momentum

A petition that seeks to name Keanu Reeves as TIME‘s 2019 Person of the Year is gaining momentum. The campaign simply aims to make a blunt point: “Keanu is the most wholesome person alive, make him the person of the year!” According to Uproxx, less than 24 hours ago, the petition stood at close to 1,500 signatures. On Tuesday, that number skyrocketed to over 9,000 signatures. The petition speaks to the “Keanassaince” currently underway, largely due to the success of John Wick: Chapter 3. TIME has treated the Person of the Year honor quite seriously in past years, but there’s always room for more Keanu world domination.
