According to geek.com, Mexico’s Popocatépetl volcano briefly exploded, launching a cloud of ash, gas, and smoke over 4,000 meters high into the morning sky. The National Coordination of Civil Protection issued a tweet at the time of the eruption, warning residents not to approach the volcano. This isn’t the first time the Popocatépetl volcano has exploded this year: On March 18, the massive volcano erupted at night. The eruption was one of the volcano’s largest over the years and it was loud enough to shake doors and windows in the nearby city of Puebla.
