Mark Zuckerberg's Old Emails Might Complicate The FTC Privacy Probe

Description

The Wall Street Journal reported some interesting emails that employees within Facebook have dug up. These emails reportedly “appear to connect Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg to potentially problematic privacy practices.” According to Gizmodo, these email might complicate Facebook being able to quickly reach a settlement with the FTC. This settlement is over alleged violations of a 2012 agreement known as a consent decree. Facebook allegedly “deceived consumers” into thinking their information was public when it was actually being shared.
