Is A 'Hunger Games' Sequel A Good Idea?

Description

Business Insider reports that Lionsgate is planning a "Hunger Games" prequel movie, based on an upcoming novel. The four "Hunger Games" movies were successful. However, a prequel isn't guaranteed to be a hit. Summer of 2019 has had several disappointing sequels shows. It is becoming increasingly difficult for any non-Disney tentpole movie to attract audiences to theaters domestically. Normally, international box office could make up for a lacking domestic box office. The "Hunger Games" movies were always almost as popular in the US as they were internationally.
