Eight Women Accuse Max Landis Of Abuse

Description

Eight women have accused screenwriter Max Landis of sexual and emotional abuse. Ex-Teacher and documentarian Ani Easton Baker publicly accused Landis of a pattern of “destructive” behavior during their former relationship. Baker was joined by actress Whitney Moore, who alleged that Landis did “horrific, inhumane things” to her as well while they dated. Moore expressed sadness while accusing Landis of going on to “continue hurting people behind closed doors. Eight women, including Baker, have now spoken to the Daily Beast about Landis for an exposé. The women allege a variety of abusive behavior against him. This includes Landis being a “serial rapist, gaslighter, physical and psychological abuser who tormented” them. Landis declined to comment for the article.

  • Sixteen complaints of abuse are not enough in Peru to open a criminal case

Lima, Peru Sep 17 (EFE) (Images: Zoom) .- Sixteen women, with no connection between them, were abused by Guillermo Castrillón, director and theater teacher who maintained a hierarchical relationship with them, but for a Peruvian prosecutor, there is no reason to open a criminal investigation because they are not sufficiently traumatized.STATEMENTS FROM DANIELA ROTALDE:We live in a society where we know we will be judged even before reporting the crime. People will ask you if you drank that night, what you were wearing, why you were out if you have a son? And we see this in the news. The fact that this is not considered a crime tells women that have experienced any type of sexual abuse that the system is unwilling to investigate our cases.
