Ukrainian and Russian-backed rebels swap hundreds of prisoners in the war-torn East of the country, one of the largest such exchanges since the outbreak of an insurgency almost four years ago. IMAGES
A ceasefire is broadly holding in east Ukraine but separatists in the rebel stronghold of Donetsk are training in case hostilities with government troops resume. Mana Rabiee reports.
Being on the front line,the Donetsk arena has been by volunteers who spread aid packages with food for the Donetsk inhabitants.

Smoke billows from an oil depot allegedly targeted overnight by Russian forces in the Ukrainian city of Vasylkiv. Moscow ordered its troops to advance in Ukraine "from all directions" while the West responded with sanctions that sought to cripple Russia's banking sector. IMAGES
