Rescue workers saved a deer that fell into the freezing cold Cellina Meduna canal in the northern Italian town of Spilimbergo. In order to drag the animal out of the water, the workers used a special telescopic pole. The deer hurried to leave its saviours, seeming healthy and not visibly injured, though the animal was thought to have been suffering from hypothermia. Reportedly, the hart was one of four to have been saved from the same canal by the rescue team that day.
