A two-year investigation by international prosecutors into the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 reveals that the plane was shot down by a missile fired from a launcher brought into Ukraine from Russia.
Investigators probing the crash of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 in 2014 release an animated representation they say shows the plane was downed by a Russian-made missile fired from rebel-held territory. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine by a Russian-made Buk missile, the Dutch Safety Board concluded on Tuesday in its final report on the crash in July 2014 that killed all 298 people on board.
