British Prime Minister David Cameron says a new Islamic State video that threatens Britain and shows the killing of five men accused of spying for the West, is "desperate" propaganda from an organization which is losing ground. Jillian Kitchener reports.
A prison van believed to be carrying Aine Davis arrives at the Old Bailey, London's Central Criminal Court, as the alleged British member of the Islamic State group attends a pre-trial hearing accused of terror offences. Davis was part of a group of four known as the Beatles because of their British accents, which murdered hostages while fighting with jihadists in Syria. IMAGES
The mother of slain journalist James Foley, Diane Foley, says the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation welcomes the life sentence for El Shafee Elsheikh after the member of the notorious Islamic State kidnap-and-murder cell known as the "Beatles" was sentenced to life in prison by a US court for the deaths of four American hostages in Syria. "With today's verdict we finally have a bit of justice," she says outside the federal courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia. SOUNDBITE
