Paris police have shot dead a knife-wielding man wearing a fake suicide belt who tried to enter a police station shouting "Allahu Akbar" (God is Great). The incident occurred as Parisians were rembering those killed in the Charlie Hebdo attacks one year ago. Nathan Frandino reports.

A woman administrator was stabbed to death by a Tunisian man at a police station southwest of Paris on Friday, the local prosecutor's office and a police source told AFP. The attacker, a Tunisian, was fatally wounded when officers opened fire on him at the station in Rambouillet, a wealthy commuter town 60 kilometres (40 miles) from Paris, a police source told AFP on condition of anonymity.
