Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) announces that it begins producing the top-selling Lexus NX and Lexus NX Hybrid compact luxury SUVs at its Cambridge, Ontario facility starting in early 2022.
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada plans to manufacture two luxury SUVs at its plant in Cambridge, Ont., bolstering Canada’s auto sector as its competitors General Motors and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles cut production in Ontario.The Japanese automaker will start making the popular Lexus NX and Lexus NX hybrid at its Cambridge facility in 2022 to serve the North American market, executives confirmed Monday at a news conference attended by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario’s deputy premier Christine Elliott.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) celebrated the launch of the all-new 2022 Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. The Santa Cruz joins the Sonata and Elantra sedans and Santa Fe and Tucson SUVs on the Montgomery assembly line.
