ModiFace Live is an augmented reality beauty app that uses face tracking and gesture tracking technology. The app allows users to virtually apply makeup in real time and record a video of their different looks. According to ModiFace Founder and CEO, Parham Aarabi, developing a makeup app was an accident.
It's finally here, a device which can translate up to 80 different languages in real time. It's called Travis the Translator and it instantly translates many different languages on the go. The pocket sized device learns with the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Travis the Translator was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show Asia, which is taking place in Shanghai. It can translate in 20 languages offline and over 80 languages online processing the user's voice within just two seconds.
Using facial recognition technology and specialized algorithms, consumers can snap a selfie, scan a bar code on their phone and instantly know what they'll look like. Sharon Reich reports.
