Paris (France), Dec 15 (EFE), (Camera: María D. Valderrama).- French writer Jean-Baptiste del Amo, 39, tells Efe that he faces each new project as a literary challenge. He is now working on several children's books.Children can be sensitive to literary texts and perceive magic and poetry, says Del Amo after the publication of last work: "Yukio, the kid of the waves."SOUNDBITES OF JEAN-BAPTISTE DEL AMO, FRENCH WRITER:"Children's literature is the most immediate means of trying to restore the language of childhood, and at the same time with 'Yukio' I wanted it to be a demanding, literary book, not giving up my identity as a novelist. I think that children can be sensitive to demanding literary texts from which they can perceive magic, weirdness and poetry." "I am very pessimistic about our collective future and it seems to me that bringing a child into the world, giving life to a human being, is a colossal responsibility that I do not feel capable of carrying, because I believe that we have crossed a red line and unfortunately there is not coming back so, personally, I don't feel like inflicting this reality on a child."

This is Douglas Hughes, a political activist that landed a gyrocopter in front of the US Capitol building on April 15, 2015 in protest against corruption in politics. The gyrocopter was carrying 535 letters addressed to every member of Congress. Hughes was immediately arrested. He recounted his experience for Ruptly. Douglas' stunt was an attempt to draw attention to the lack of regulation on donation from companies and private donors to US political parties. The former postman said that he had no regrets.
