Hundreds of people gather in the South African town of Cape Town for a pro-Palestinian march, amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Chanting slogans and carrying flags, banners and signs, the crowd moved through the streets. The war started after Hamas's October 7 attack on southern Israel resulted in the deaths of 1,170 people, mostly civilians, according to an AFP tally of Israeli official figures.
