Fiat Chrysler is recalling 1.9 million vehicles worldwide for an air bag defect linked to three deaths and five injuries in yet another major recall to hit the auto industry. David Pollard reports.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV announced it is recalling around 284,089 older-model sports utility vehicles in the United States due to inadvertent airbag deployment.
The U.S. auto safety watchdog, toughening its stance against manufacturer defects, announces a record $105 million in fines against Fiat Chrysler Automobiles over lapses in safety recalls involving millions of vehicles. Ryan Brooks reports
