One U.S. soldier was killed during a “boots on the ground” raid in support of Kurdish commandos in northern Iraq.
Kurdish fighters shot four Canadian soldiers after mistaking them for ISIS militants on Friday night. According to Kurdish officials, the four members of the Canadian Special Operations Regiment approached the Kurdish front line unannounced.
