A Syrian refugee family living in Texas says the background checks required for passage into the United States take at least six months, making it "impossible that any terrorist can come to America through any refugee program." Gavino Garay reports.

American journalist Danny Fenster, jailed for six months by Myanmar's military rulers, says landing back in the United States and reuniting with his family is "a moment I've been imagining so intensely for so long, it surpasses everything I imagined." Fenster arrives back in the US after being released a day before he was to face terror and sedition charges that could have seen for life. SOUNDBITE
