Mid-air collision in Slovakia kills pilots and parachutists

Description

Seven people are dead and many more missing after two turbo-prop L-410 aircraft carrying parachutists crashed mid-air over western Slovakia on Thursday morning.

  • Three Killed After Two Planes Collide in the Air Over McKinney, Texas

    Texas police stated that three people have died after two small aircraft collided in the air over the city of McKinney on Saturday. The two aircraft, a Piper PA-28R and a Luscombe, crashed into each other near the Aero County Airport. One plane went down near a storage facility while the crashed on a busy road near a commercial district of the city. The Aero County airport is a small regional airport that does not have air traffic control - pilots are required to announce landings and takeoffs via radio. Police and fire services cleared Custer Road from Virginia to Bedford as they worked on the scene of the crash. An investigation into the exact circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
