Both were very proud moments for the Obama family and the United States.
The President of the United States Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama and their children Sasha and Malia are in the Blue Room of the White House as he takes the oath of office for the second time. Michelle Obama is holding the "Robinson Family Bible" as Chief Justice John Roberts administers the Oath.
Heads of state are in attendance and the Angolan armed forces take part in a ceremonial parade as part of the inauguration of President João Lourenço, who will be serving a second term. IMAGES
