Women's rights campaigner Narges Mohammadi's Nobel peace prize win pays tribute to the courage of Iranian women in the face of reprisals and harrassment, the United Nations says. The Nobel Chemistry Prize is awarded to a trio of chemists for laying the foundation for a more functional form of chemistry. Americans Carolyn Bertozzi and Barry Sharpless, together with Denmark's Morten Meldal are honoured for "for the development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry".
