    Images show the Panama-registered carrier ship Fremantle Highway, which is carrying 3,000 cars and caught fire off the Dutch coast on Tuesday night as it travelled to Egypt from Germany. The ship, still on fire at 17:00 CET, is filmed from Buren Strand, Ameland Island – a popular holiday destination in the Waddenzee Netherlands, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Fears have been raised over environmental pollution as authorities warn that the fire could burn for days and threaten nearby natural sites. It is suspected that an electric car was behind the fire.
