Last night CBS aired First Lady Michelle Obama’s farewell interview with Oprah Winfrey. During their chat, Obama opened up about her true feelings about President-elect Donald Trump. The First Lady admitted while she is committed to making sure the Presidential transition goes smoothly, the election cycle was difficult to experience. Even though Obama was disappointed in this election cycle, she reiterated she has no plans to class up the 2020 election with her own bid. According to Michelle “The next family that comes in here, every person in that family — every child, every grandchild — their lives will be turned upside down in a way that no American really understands,” and she has no desire to put her family through that again.
