New Printing Tech Allows Paper to be Re-Used Again and Again

Description

A brand new printing technology developed as a joint project by Shandong University and the University of California may revolutionize the printing industry and help make a huge impact on slowing down deforestation. The new technology doesn't print with traditional ink, rather, the printers use ultraviolet light to create images on paper. However, once the information or images are no longer needed, the ink can be erased when exposed to high heat. Researchers showed off a proof of concept of their invention in the Chinese city of Jinan on Thursday. Investors are eyeing the new printing tech and some have already shown interest in developing the product commercially. Imagine being able to reuse paper as many times as you want and also helping the environment at the same time.
