Paris (France), Feb 10 (EFE / EPA) .- (CAMERA: Ian Langsdon) Paris is covered with snow, 4.5 meters above its usual level, while cold winds spread through the north of France.
On the Russian Far East island of Sakhalin, it's totally normal to open your front door and find a wall of snow on the other side. One local tried to kick down the wall of snow, only to poke a small hole through it, but he was able to see his barking dogs on the other side. Winter in Sakhalin usually dumps between 2 and 9 feet of snow on the island.
Thousands of frustrated migrants trapped in camps along a no-man's-land between Greece and Macedonia say they're losing hope, as aid workers warn squalid conditions are taking a toll on the most vulnerable residents. Diane Hodges reports.
