Trump's Florida Trip Will Cost US Taxpayers Millions

Description

Donald Trump’s trip to his luxury resort in Mar-a-Lago this weekend could reportedly cost US taxpayers over $3 million. According to his administration, the Florida trip, which is Trump’s first getaway as president, is expected to be part business, part pleasure. Trump’s multi-million-dollar trip, which comes just two weeks into his presidency, shows that he wont shy away from the same type of vacationing that he and other Republicans heavily criticized Barack Obama for throughout his presidency. Judicial Watch, a conservative non-profit that tracked Obama’s travel, has already said that it will file a Freedom of Information Act request for a full accounting of Trump’s travel costs during the weekend getaway next week.
