THR reports that Oliva Wilde and Shia LaBeouf clashed while making the music video for Rainey Qualley's "Love Me Like You Hate Me." Wilde was its original director and LaBeouf starred in it opposite Rainey's sister, Margaret Qualley. Wilde was given a deadline to hand in an edit of the video. Before then, LaBeouf sent in his own version. LeBeouf was insistent they go with his cut. He was also condescending to Wilde, telling her jazz musicians "know when not to play." The director replied to an email chain simply saying, "I'm out," sources told the trade. The two clashed earlier, when Wilde fired LeBeouf from the film "Don't Worry Darling."
Variety is reporting that Shia LaBeouf was fired from the upcoming Olivia Wilde movie, "Don't Worry Darling." Why was he fired? According to Business Insider Shia exhibited "poor behavior" to cast and crew, including Wilde. "He is not an easy guy to work with," a source told Variety. The source added that LaBeouf was "off-putting" to those associated with the New Line Cinema project before production began shooting. Wilde is known to have a "zero a--hole policy." He was replaced by Harry Styles.
Olivia Wilde and Zach Braff are among the stars defending Harry Styles after the singer came under fire from a small but vocal group of critics for his embrace of gender-fluid fashion. The photos drew a scathing response from right-wing author Candace Owens, who argued on Twitter that Styles was indicative of the “steady feminization of our men,” adding, “Bring back manly men.” “He’s 104% perfect.” And Wilde, who is currently directing the singer in the forthcoming thriller “Don’t Worry, Darling,” fired back at Owens with just two words.
