Jammu, Feb 20 (EFE/EPA).- Indian Hindu devotees on Thursdat took part in the Maha Shivratri procession during the Maha Shivratri festival celebrations in Jammu.Martand Singh, the great-grandson of the last king of Jammu and Kashmir, Maharaja Hari Singh, also attended the celebration, during which he congratulated the people of the Hindu community all over the world on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival.Maha Shivratri, the night of the worship of Shiva, is celebrated on the 14th night of the new moon during the dark half of the month when Hindus offer special prayer to the lord of destruction.
