Volunteers clean Taiwan streets with disinfectant to contain COVID-19

Taoyuan, Apr 1 (EFE/EPA).- A group of volunteers on Tuesday cleaned the streets of Taoyuan, 48 kilometers southwest of Taipei, with disinfectant in an attempt to contain the spread of COVID-19, a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in Taiwan.Taiwan has so far confirmed 322 cases of COVID-19 with five related deaths in the country.
