Medical students give free care to Prague's homeless

Prague (Czech Republic), Apr 29 (EFE / EPA), (Camera: Martin Divisek).- A group of Czech medical students are working in the streets of Prague during the coronavirus pandemic providing healthcare services for homeless people.FOOTAGE OF MEDICAL STUDENTS WORKING.SOUNDBITES OF DAVID VARYS:"We treat 10 to 12 people a day, in places like the one we are in now. If we do fieldwork, which takes all day, we get to treat more than 20 people. The situation during the coronavirus has changed dramatically, we had to reorganize our consultations. We have adapted to it treating in tents we set up 3 times a week, another 3 times a week doing fieldwork; we are also 3 times a week at the central station and once a week at the Vltavská metro station.""The main thing that has changed is that we have to wear protective gear, masks, a protective face screen or glasses. We try to follow hygienic measures as much as possible to reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases."
