Marikina, May 20 (EFE/EPA).- Health workers carried out Thursday a vaccination drive with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in Marikina City. The Department of Health is working with local government units to suspend early announcements of vaccine brands available for scheduled vaccination dates and instead inform citizens right before inoculation in order to get consent. The move is aimed at encouraging equal confidence in all available vaccines and avoid overcrowding in inoculation centers caused by brand preference.
