Almost 300 Spaniards return from Bolivia

Madrid (Spain), Santa Cruz (Bolivia), May 7 (EFE), (Camera: Manuel Única, Juan Pablo Roca).- Almost 300 Spaniards on Thursday arrived in Madrid from Bolia, where they had to spend lockdown. Four people died in an accident when they were on their way to take this flight from Bolivia to Madrid.FOOTAGE OF THE PASSENGERS ARRIVING AT MADRID BARAJAS AIRPORT. SOUNDBITES OF AGUSTÍN UÑA, DIPLOMAT IN SANTA CRUZ (BOLIVIA):"In the first stage of the rescue operation, we took care of tourists and vulnerable people. The first stage was almost totally completed with the flights from France and Germany. We were able to return 117 people to Spain and in the second stage, which ends with this flight, we have rescues the tourists who were in different parts of Bolivia. We have also continued working for the returning of healthcare personnel and people with permanent residency in Spain as well as vulnerable people (patients with cancer or those who have an urgent medical appointment). We gave priority to them."
