France is due to start easing its two-month lockdown measures on May 11, as infections lower yet again. Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced that many restrictions will still remain in place, such as closed borders, forbidden travelling for over 100 km from home, and many others.
France is set to start gradually easing lockdown measures in place to curb the coronavirus pandemic, after cases and deaths have been continuously dropping. 178 new Covid-19 deaths have been reported, but the easing of measures will not be the same for everyone, as the East and the Centre of the country, as well as Paris, will remain under strict measures.
