Istanbul, Jul 3 (EFE).- Twenty Saudi citizens went on trial in absentia in Turkey on Friday for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.The Saudi reporter, 59, who was a vocal critic of the Saudi royal family, was killed inside the country’s consulate in Istanbul on 2 October 2018.FOOTAGE OF THE COURT HOUSE AND SOUNDBITES OF HATICE CENGIZ, KHASHOGGI'S FIANCEE.Translation:"The first trial was held here today. The process was very debilitating for me. We requested to attend the trial, it was accepted, so we will follow up on the trial.
