Promising COVID Vaccine Sends Stocks Soaring

    Bangkok, Jun 22 (EFE/EPA).-Researchers from Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University on Monday held a press conference to update on the progress towards developing an mRNA-type vaccine against coronavirus infections, assuring the initial result of the trial on monkeys is promising and that they will proceed with human trial within this year.The research team in Thailand began running vaccine tests on monkeys on May 23 and second dose is given on June 22, after initial tests on mice proved to be effective.
