Anti-Lukashenko protest draws hundreds in Minsk

Description

Belarusians take to the streets of the capital Minsk in a fresh demonstration against strongman leader Alexander Lukashenko as anger mounts over the recent death of an opposition activist. Belarusian rights group Viasna says at least 328 people were detained, including journalists. Tens of thousands have taken to the streets of cities throughout Belarus every weekend since August 9 when President Lukashenko claimed a sixth presidential term in elections that his critics and Western countries said were rigged.
