President Donald Trump and his family appear to be making preparations to vacate the White House, despite his insistence he secretly won the election. Business Insider reports Trump has asked for renovations to be made to his Mar-a-Lago residence as the first family considers moving to Florida. The White House has not made any official announcement about Trump's post-presidency plans. First Lady Melania Trump is reportedly also looking for schools around the Palm Beach area and neighboring Broward County for son Barron, 14. Meanwhile, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner seem to be steering away from New York City, where they were once prominent Manhattan socialites.
Rudy Giuliani is up against numerous calls for his license to practice law to be revoked. But the bar to disbarment is set very high, and legal experts are divided as to whether Giuliani's conduct has been egregious enough to merit such a harsh punishment. According to Business Insider, President Donald Trump's personal attorney has been criticized for frivolous, dishonest litigation. Experts say that disbarment is unlikely, though Giuliani could face lesser sanctions from state bar associations and courts. On ABC's 'This Week,' Christie, a Republican, said Trump's attorneys have had ample opportunities to present solid evidence of any voting irregularities. They allege fraud outside the courtroom, but inside the courtroom they don't plead fraud and they don't argue fraud. Chris Christie
More than 74 million Americans--and those they live with--are at increased risk for severe COVID-19. An analysis published Monday by JAMA Internal Medicine reveals those 74 million are classified as 'essential workers' in the US. Researchers say the workers' risk is based on disease risk guidelines developed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. UPI reports that of the more than 157 million workers across the country, 72% are in jobs deemed essential by the US Department of Homeland Security. What's more, UPI reports over three-fourths of all essential workers are unable to work at home.
Hundreds of demonstrators gather in Washington Square Park in New York City, as incomplete returns from key states show Democratic challenger Joe Biden is almost certain to make Donald Trump a one-term president.
